Open Door Policy
Parents may visit their children in our facility any time they wish. We do ask parents who plan to visit their children frequently to follow the classroom routine, to avoid disturbing classroom schedules and activities. Parents, providers and staff work together as a team to serve the best interest of the child. Respectful, open, honest communication between parents, provider and staff is crucial to your child’s well being. Specific development information is available upon request. We have links with a wide range of community health and social service resource. A list of these resources is available upon request. Parents will be referred to appropriate health and/or social agencies when needed.
Inclement Weather Policy
In the event of inclement weather, specifically a snow day, the daycare follows policies at the state level. If the state government is closed, the daycare will be closed as well. Please keep in mind that the daycare policy is independent from the Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS) schedule.
